Transmissions

Two transmissions were available with the B series: a 4 speed manual (1974-82), and a 5 speed manual (1983 on).

Differentials

Most BJ series Cruisers have a 9.5" ring gear, and the differentials are offset to the right. Locking diffs, and limited slip were offered in most markets as options. Below are two common axle codes, but full details can be found in the TLC FAQ.
